Repeat Prescriptions

Please order repeat prescriptions from reception at least 48 hours before you need regular medicines, making allowances for weekends and public holidays. We can often provide these within 24 hours but during busy times this may not be possible.

Repeat medication may be requested by post, in person or by fax. Please use the tear off slip where possible as this helps us to provide a quicker service.

Alternatively you can order online via the link at the top of this page. New users are required to complete a simple registration prior to using this service.

We regret that requests for routine prescriptions cannot be accepted by telephone as this keeps the line engaged whilst other callers are trying to contact us.

Prescriptions can be collected from surgery, sent directly to a local pharmacy of your choice or returned to you by post if you enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Please let us know when you first use the service or if circumstances change.

New patients on regular medication must see one of the doctors before using the above service.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
